Racquets at Royal Oaks

The Racquets Facility at Royal Oaks features 8 lighted tennis courts and 4 shared pickleball courts. 6 hard courts including a 2 Stadium Courts done in the U.S. Open blue and green color scheme and 2 Hydro Grid clay courts, all built independently, to give you the feel of playing on your own private court. In the Racquets Facility, Members have complimentary access to training tools such as a state-of-the-art Playmate ball machine.

Royal Oaks Country Club’s Tennis programming for Men, Women and Children includes 14 ROCC teams in various leagues, weekly Adult Clinics, the Junior Tennis Academy, the Junior Summer Tennis & Sports Camp and an array of Social Events/Tournaments for tennis andpickleball throughout the year.

Our racquets staff has over 60 years of experience! Which includes full-time RSPA Certified tennis & pickleball pros. Our teaching pros are available year-round for private and group instruction.   

Additional Offerings

Racquet Stringing – The Royal Oaks Racquets department is happy to offer racquet stringing services. We have a variety of string available and a quick 24-hour or less turnaround. Please contact one of the Racquet Pros for more information.

Ball Machines – We have two remote controlled Ball Machines. You may always use the baskets of balls that we use for teaching but we ask that you pick up all the balls and put the equipment away in the shed at the end of use.  

Racquets Policies

  • A $20 charge per person will be applied for no-call, no-show court reservations.
  • The fee will be split between all players on the reservation who did not attend.

A Simple Reminder

Please remember to check in every time you come to play—even if you don’t have guests or a reservation. This small step helps us keep things running smoothly for everyone.

  • Standard Guest Fee: $15 per guest (previously $10).
  • If Club Staff Must Check In Your Guest: $30 per guest.
  • Members are responsible for checking in themselves and their guests through the Royal Oaks app or at the Sports Club Desk before play begins.
  • If a Member(s) No Show or No Contacts, they are charged 100% of the lesson fee.
  • If a Member(s) has a PM lesson (noon or later), they have until 11:59am that day to cancel their PM lesson for no charge. If you cancel after noon, a 50% charge may be applied.
  • If a Member(s) has an AM lesson, they have until 7:00am that day to cancel their AM lesson for no charge. If you cancel after 7:00am, a 50% charge may be applied.
  • Each violation comes with a warning and is at the discretion of the Director of Racquets.

Racquet Court Reservations

Court reservations may be 14 days in advance by phone at 281-899-3250, by visiting the Sports Club front desk or by using the ROCC App!
