Engaging Environment for all Ages

Royal Oaks Country Club is dedicated to providing an engaging environment for all ages fostering healthy active lifestyles through unique programming. Here at Royal Oaks we have everything from Junior Fitness Boot Camps, Swim Club, Summer Camps, Junior Tennis Academies and the best Junior Golf Program in Houston led by an experienced team of PGA Professionals.

During the summer months we have a series of Family Fun Nights creating lifelong memories while making new friends. Family Club event favorites include Fourth of July, Halloween and Breakfast with Santa as hundreds of Members come together and celebrate. As a bonus to being a Member here at Royal Oaks, we offer complimentary onsite child supervision at the Tot Stop while parents are enjoying all the amenities at the Club.

Future 36ers – Junior Operation 36 Golf Coaching Program

We are proud to be the only facility in Houston that delivers the Juniors Operation 36 Golf Coaching Program. The program is designed to progress juniors of all abilities, aged 3 to 18, towards shooting par (score of 36) or better for 9 holes! Players train in small groups and work together to improve their games while having a lot of fun in the process. Royal Oaks Country Club offers three semesters of Juniors Operation 36 with over 100 juniors participating!
 
Our Junior Tennis Program offers programs for all skill levels and ages. Royal Oaks tennis professionals organize clinics, open play and camps held throughout the year to encourage play, develop skills and create friendships. Group and private lessons are also offered for our Juniors. Our Tennis Professionals work hard to create a program that is fun, engaging and well-balanced for you kids to enjoy the sport and continue to play throughout their lifetime.

At Royal Oaks, we strive for quality and high standards. Our swim coaches assist your child to be not only physically fit, but skilled in swimming. Coaches teach good sportsmanship and healthy competitiveness. Our coaches build upon your child’s natural strengths and provide fun-filled interaction with peers.
 

Youth Orientation:

At Royal Oaks Country Club, children between the ages of 13-15 can hit the Sports Club with their parent/guardian! Children who wish to utilize the Sports Club must first complete our Youth Orientation. The Youth Orientation covers proper etiquette, safety rules and cutting-edge fitness research.
  • Youth Orientation for Ages 13 – 15:
    • For children ages 13 – 15, who desire to work out in the Sports Club must complete the appropriate Youth Orientation program. As stated in our Rules & Regulations, youth ages between 13 – 15 must pass the Youth Orientation prior to using the Sports Club. During Orientation, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, a Certified Trainer will take the child and parent through the procedures, dress code, weight room etiquette, safety and youth training recommendations. Teens will receive a wrist band that must be worn when working out with a parent. The wrist band identifies
  • Youth Waivers for Ages 16 – 17:
    • Youth Exercise Waivers are required for all teens ages 16-17 when working out alone. These youth Members must read, understand and sign the procedures, rules, etiquette and recommendations for Sports Club use. Youth ages 16 and up are not required to complete the Youth Orientation but are required to understand and follow the information and may elect to attend an orientation if desired. If your teen is 16-17, please visit the Sports Club front desk to read and sign the waiver.
    • Youth Guests: Royal Oaks Members ages 16 and up may bring one guest ages 16 and up to exercise the Sports Club. A signed waiver must be on file prior to the guest visit. Youth Guests ages 16 and up will be allowed to use the cardiovascular equipment, group exercise classes, weight room and strength equipment without a parent present, provided that:
      • His/her parent has signed the waiver
      • The individual has read and understand the ROCC Youth Orientation and Rules & Regulations under the General Fitness section of the Bylaws
      • The individual understands that this privilege can be revoked if rules are not followed
Royal Oaks Summer Sports Camp is an outdoor camp where our campers will have daily classes in golf, tennis and soccer. This camp is conducted by high school and college counselors who will play and introduce the campers to these sports. Lunch is provided and followed by swim time. In the afternoon, activities consist of fishing, pickleball, soccer, kickball to top off a tiring day of play and fun! This is a fun camp where the campers are introduced to the sports but in a social format.

We also offer Summer Tennis Camp where our certified Tennis Professionals teach campers on court knowledge, consistency in their strokes and finish off by playing games in a fun atmosphere!
